DTC Group

Founded by Mr. Satyanarayan Jalan in the 1980s, DTC Group began as a family-owned business after acquiring a century-old mining company in Jharkhand. In the 1990s, DTC expanded its operations, including exports, marking its growth in the mining industry.

After establishing itself in mining, DTC successfully ventured into real estate, completing large-scale affordable housing projects. The company also undertook infrastructure projects, including underground water pipe laying tenders. DTC further enhanced its sectoral presence by adding value to its services, ensuring superior customer service while strengthening its business model.

Headquartered in Kolkata, the DTC Group consists of five companies: DTC Securities Limited, DTC Projects Private Limited, East Commercial Private Limited, Rajmahal Quartz Sand & Kaolin Co., and DTC Minerals Pvt. Ltd.

The company is led by Mr. Satyanarayan Jalan as Chairman and Mr. Dinesh Jalan as Managing Director. Mr. Ayush Jalan and Mr. Pratyush Jalan have also joined the business and now oversee various operational and business verticals.
